Dan Clement is a former trial lawyer in Los Angeles who served for 31 years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Sidley & Austin and Southern California Gas Company. He was a Board Member at the Colburn School for 10 years, and has worked in various capacities for other nonprofit educational organizations. In 2008, Mr. Clement recruited the first group of 30 mentors to work with the pilot group of College Bound Today (CBT) students at Schurr High School. Since that time, he recruited more than 300 additional mentors and led the expansion of the CBT program into 4 other high schools in the Montebello Unified School District (MUSD). Mr. Clement also secured substantial funding for CBT, and he forged a long-term partnership between CBT and MUSD. As Project Leader, Mr. Clement currently manages CBT’s operations.

Todd Clark is an expert in the fields of public education and policy in the State of California. For more than 20 years, he served as Executive Director of the Constitutional Rights Foundation, a nonprofit educational organization based in Los Angeles that collaborates with many California school districts, including MUSD. Mr. Clark designed the CBT program, including its innovative team mentoring model and its initial curriculum. He currently serves as a consultant to CBT.
